Aretousa (~aR-uh-to-sA~) Craft Company is a small business located in the United States. We take pride in taking the time to assemble each one of our products by hand. The Greek name Aretousa refers to a woman with great virtue and beauty and who is at the center of the 17th century Cretan poem Erotokritos by Vikentios Kornaros. The name pays tribute to our founder's Greek heritage to which she attributes much of her drive in finding beauty in simplicity and detail and celebrating every occasion.

Growing up, our founder enjoyed making small tokens that made a big impact such as placecards and party hats. We believe that every gathering is a celebration and that handmade details make for an unforgettable event.
